These terms apply when you shop with Lazurd on lazurd.com. Please read them before you order. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Placing an order

You must be 18 or over to order. When you check out, you are making an offer to buy. The order is accepted, and the contract made, when we send you an order confirmation by email or WhatsApp. Under Kuwait's Electronic Transactions Law (Law No. 20 of 2014, Articles 3 and 4), that electronic order has the same legal force as a paper contract.

We may decline an order before we confirm it, for example if an item is sold out, a price was shown incorrectly, we cannot deliver safely to the address, or we suspect fraud. If we decline an order you have already paid for, we refund you in full.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD). Kuwait has no value added tax, so the price you see is the price you pay, plus a flat 1.000 KD delivery charge that is shown in your bag before payment. We accept KNET, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay. Payment is taken when you place the order. We issue an invoice for every order.

If we spot a pricing mistake after you order, we will tell you and give you the choice to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Allergens and nutrition

Every product page lists what the item contains, what it may contain, and its nutrition per portion and per 100 g. Nutrition figures come from our recipes and are rounded. Our kitchen handles nuts, peanuts, milk, egg, wheat, sesame and soy, and any product may contain traces of them. If you have a severe allergy, message us on WhatsApp before you order. Because everything is made in the same kitchen, we cannot guarantee that any product is free from these allergens, and we are not responsible for a reaction where this information was available to you.

Bespoke orders

Bespoke cakes and custom gift boxes are made to your brief. We confirm the design, size, price and delivery date with you in writing before we begin. Once production starts they cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded. Handmade items vary slightly from photographs; that is part of what makes them yours.

Delivery, cancellations and refunds

Our Shipping policy explains how and when we deliver. Our Refund policy explains cancellations and what we do if something is wrong. Both are part of these terms. In short: fresh food cannot be returned once delivered, but if an item arrives damaged, spoiled or wrong, tell us within 24 hours and we will put it right.

Our responsibility

We take care to deliver exactly what you ordered, on time and in good condition. If we fall short, our responsibility is limited to the price you paid for the affected items. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures or government orders. Nothing in these terms removes rights that Kuwaiti law gives you as a consumer.

Using the site

Please keep your account details private and let us know if you think someone else is using them. Do not misuse the site, post unlawful content, or try to gain access to it in ways you should not. The Lazurd name, logo, recipes, photographs and text belong to us; please do not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without asking.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait have exclusive jurisdiction. If you have a complaint, please talk to us first; most things are fixed in a single WhatsApp message. You can also contact the Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on hotline 135 or through the Sahel app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here when you place your order is the one that applies to it. Last updated: 5 September 2026.
